The Teeling Whiskey Distillery is the first new distillery in Dublin in over 125 years and will bring the craft of distilling back into the very heart of Dublin city centre. The new distillery is right back where it started in 1782 and only a stone's throw away from where Walter Teeling's old distillery was. Located in an ancient market square called Newmarket, an area long associated with brewing and distilling, our new distillery is a three copper pot still operation reviving the traditional style of Dublin whiskey distillation.

Black Bottle was created by Gordon Graham, a Scottish tea blender in 1879 who noticed that the growing popularity of blended scotch whisky. In 1914 due to the shortage of black glass during Germany the bottle changed to a green bottle. This lasted until 2012 when after purchasing Bunnahabain and Black Bottle in 2003 the brand was relaunched in a Black Bottle with a blend that was as close to the original blend as possible. Black Bottle Scotch is a blend of single malts and grain whisky. The single malts include Bunnahabhain from Islay, Deanston from the Highland Region, Tobermory and Ledaig from the Isle of Mull.

Built in 1881, Bunnahabhain (pronounced Bu-na-ha-venn) lies on the isolated northeastern tip of Islay, right near the Margadale River. Gaelic for "Mouth of the River", this remote location, with sea influence and pure spring water, makes for an idyllic place for whisky distillation.
